Bluefield University will launch its Fall III (Winter) term beginning December 11. The four-week accelerated term gives students the opportunity to take up to 9 credits (3 courses) between semesters for $200 per credit. The Fall III term allows students to engage in study outside their normal academic program to meet or exceed their academic progress goals.
Courses are open to current, new, or visiting students, including college students who are home for winter break as well as high school students. The courses run from December 11 – January 7 allowing a semester-long course to be completed in four weeks. Courses in literature, college algebra, Christian studies, statistics, business, and criminal justice will be offered. A course on coaching football will be offered for football enthusiasts or individuals interested in coaching.
Students will be expected to read and complete assignments each day throughout the four-week term with the exception of Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day. We strive to provide students with encouragement and support as they commit their time and dedicate their effort to be successful along their course’s path of instruction.
In addition to faculty support, students will have support from BU’s Academic Center for Excellence (ACE) which will provide academic support for students during the term. Students may contact ACE by email at [email protected] or by phone at 276.326.4220.
