In our 30-credit program, you will learn strategies for assessing and evaluating student work, approaches to curriculum design, and foundations of special education. Innovative courses like leading trauma-informed classes, theories of educational leadership, and social-emotional learning in the restorative classroom are also included. The culmination of the program is an action research project where you can explore a topic that interests you.

Opportunities for educators are available in public schools, private schools, online teaching, community colleges, and community service agencies. After completing your MAEd, you will be prepared to study at the doctoral level.

Curriculum & Instruction
This concentration is designed for educators seeking to enhance their skills in designing and implementing effective and innovative curricula. It focuses on teaching strategies, curriculum development, and the use of technology in education. Students will learn how to create engaging, inclusive, and effective learning experiences for diverse student populations. This program is ideal for current or aspiring educators who wish to take on leadership roles in curriculum design and instructional strategies within their schools or districts.
Teacher licensure is not included in this program.
