Bluefield, VA – A familiar and friendly face to the Bluefield University campus, Sherelle Morgan, a 2021 MBA graduate, joined the Office of Institutional Advancement as the Director of Alumni Relations. Morgan previously served on the online admissions team and most recently with the traditional admissions team.
“I have had the pleasure of watching Sherelle engage with students on our campus for several years,” said Joshua Cline, Vice President for Institutional Advancement and Marketing. “I am excited to see her bring that level of care and attention to our alumni association. I know she will help the University tell the stories of how Bluefield enabled our alumni to go further in life.”
A native of Martinsville, VA, Morgan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Virginia and graduated from Bluefield University’s MBA Leadership program in December 2021. Her professional background consists of 20 years of human resources leadership experience in recruiting, diversity, equity and inclusion, and talent management. She joined the Bluefield University family in 2015 and served in the online and traditional admissions offices and will continue to provide leadership as the Coordinator for Belonging.
“As Director of Alumni Relations, it is my commitment to our alumni to offer events, services, and activities that are engaging and meaningful,” said Morgan. “I’m excited to collaborate with our graduates to make new memories while honoring their time at BU.”
Morgan will collaborate with BU’s Alumni Association Board of Directors and focus on the important work of connecting alumni and friends back to their alma mater through exciting programming and opportunities.
