Important Update: Remote Learning Due to Power Outage (Sept 30 – Oct 2)

by | Sep 28, 2024

We are monitoring the power outage closely and communicating with the power company. The damage to the infrastructure is enough to keep the power out on campus for a few days. The Executive Leadership Team has decided to move our classes on September 30th to October 2nd to remote learning (virtual) and follow our inclement weather policy.

This will allow students to leave campus and return to their homes early before our Fall break begins on October 3rd. Our coaches will contact athletes for team-specific information. We will also provide food service for the students who remain on campus and will update you as we learn more.

We ask our students to communicate with their professors regarding coursework, understanding that the power outage also impacts our faculty, and they may have some additional information for you.

Please be safe as you leave for home, and we look forward to welcoming you back on October 7th.
