by | Jan 27, 2025

BLUEFIELD, Va. — Bluefield University is reaffirming its commitment to making higher education more affordable, following its decision to freeze tuition for the 2025-2026 academic year. The move highlights the university’s focus on reducing financial barriers for students while maintaining its Christ-centered academic mission.

“The tuition freeze last year reflected our dedication to providing a high-quality education that remains within reach for families,” said Travis Roberts, Vice President of Enrollment Management and Marketing. “Through tuition discounts, financial aid, and support for Virginia residents, we are able to make Bluefield a practical option for students seeking an education.”

The university is emphasizing the value it offers students, particularly those from Virginia who qualify for the Virginia Tuition Assistance Grant (VTAG). Cost reductions, combined with federal aid and institutional discounts, demonstrate that a private college education can be both accessible and affordable.
